The original story of Zog was written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler. It centres on Zog the dragon and his school lessons in flying, roaring and winning a golden star, along with the helpful Princess Pearl who patches him up when things go wrong.
The stage adaptation, produced by Freckle Productions, features songs by Joe Stilgoe, puppetry designed by Little Angel Theatre and a run time of about one hour. It is aimed at ages 3+, though all ages are welcome.
